The patent pended Cornea is based on the POC innovation of attaching the lens on the outside of the frame, to enlarge the field of view. Cornea has extensions bars which gives a much better fit to the face. The lens is a perfectly shaped, injected cylindrical PC screen for superb optical qualities. To avoid steaming the inner lens is made of CP and laminated exactly parallel to the outer lens. POC continues the journey to make the “changing lenses panic” a piece of cake. VLT is a measurement that specifies the percentage of light coming through the lens and reaching your eyes. A totally clear lens for dark conditions typically have around 90% VLT and a very dark colored lens with mirror for sunny conditions may have down to 10% VLT. Most allround lenses will be found between 30 to 60 %.
